Suddenly its 6 weeks out from your show and the fatigue is setting in .. things are starting to hurt that never did before and you start to wonder “if I’m feeling like this now, how will I ever make it to the show - maybe I’m not cut out for this!”

It has come to the business end of your prep - when changes are starting to happen, you’re feeling exhausted, fatigued, foggy and you just want to rest!

This happens without fail at the 6 week mark – I have yet to see a woman not go through this. Well, I’m here to tell you, it’s normal to want to quit at this point – your body is drawing on its reserves, this is when your mental stamina is called upon – YOU CAN ALWAYS QUIT!! – the question is, is that what you really want? The choice is yours at the end of the day. Nobody is making you do this – this was YOUR choice and you are doing it for your own reasons.

The key to getting through this point in your prep is firstly to remind yourself WHY you are doing this – keep your goal in the forefront of your mind and keep reminding yourself of it, if you have to write it down and put it on your fridge then so be it – whatever it takes to keep your mind on your goal. Secondly you must live in the NOW and not in the future.

Concentrate on getting through today and tomorrow will take care of itself. Your job in this venture is to TRUST THE PROCESS – follow your comp prep plan with 100% compliance and leave the rest to your coach – that’s what they are there for. Your job is to do as you are instructed – their job is make the decisions and worry about everything else!

So, take your mind off the future and put it squarely into the RIGHT NOW!

Trust your coach!

Trust the process!
